I had to bore a hole on one side of the tailgate . Passenger side. Which the hole is not the same distance as the driver side which is perfect . Will have to make another hole and re crimp Bcus it won’t close properly. The fastening hex head with nut is used to crimp & attach the lower housing to the bottom of the stabilizer which is the silver part with the knuckle.
