I did not read that simply believing the lightweight comment. I am not sure that 1.6kg constitutes a lightweight parasol for travel purposes. It does physically fit in my suitcase, which is the whole point of paying this much for the item. I am unlikely to sacrifice 1.6kg of the 18kg holiday weight allowance to take this. A matter of opinion of course. Just check the item weight first.
