The seller provided an excellent written description and pictures. All my questions were answered promptly. This seller knows how to ship fragile items so they arrive safely! Each model was wrapped in layers of tissue paper and carefully placed into a box that was well-padded with bubble wrap. Shipping was very fast. It was a new set of very heavy stoneware, re-boxed, so perhaps the manufacturer takes some credit? I think the value was very fair, as the cost of dishware has soared, plus this pattern is no longer available. It is exactly as described. I received a service of 8 as a gift from my late mother, so I was interested in replacing pieces broken by my children over the years. Great job, Mr. Eccentric!
