There was no shipping box to protect the original shoe box. Considering this was over a $900 purchase; I feel that a proper shipping box would have been appropriate. A critical part of the buying experience for a Lucchese boot purchase is to receive the boots in a proper Lucchese undamaged boot box when this is possible and in the even the original box is available of course.
