Released in celebration of the 35th anniversary of Mattel's Hot Wheels line of toy cars, this arcade-style racer allows handheld gamers to choose from 35 souped-up vehicles and perform physics-defying stunts as they speed to the finish line. Races are set in fantasy locations around the world and tracks are designed to feature unexpected elements, such as icy roadways, large loop-de-loops, and multi-level paths. Multiplayer racing is supported through a link cable connection. The title's original theme song is performed by the popular rock band Smash Mouth.
