The Pioneer DEH-X6600BT in-dash receiver is a complete music and sound system for your car. This is an all-purpose entertainment system that features an MP3 player, CD player, and USB port to cover all your music and sound file possibilities. In addition to these features, the Pioneer DEH-X6600BT has an AM/FM tuner that lets you tune in to your favorite local stations while on the road. The sound system has Bluetooth functionality that supports both audio streaming and hands-free calling to allow drivers to pick up calls safely while driving. Connect to the stereo via Bluetooth to play music, stream online podcasts or other audio content, or to use your phone’s calling features over the sound system. These features are totally wireless and only reliant on your phone’s compatible Bluetooth system. The built-in iPod or iPhone controller of the stereo connects with your Apple device when you plug it in via the USB port and makes navigating either device much simpler. This allows you to connect to audio programs on your i-devices as you desire and actually control the options via your iPhone, your iPad, or the Pioneer DEH-X6600BT itself. Another interesting feature of the Pioneer DEH-X6600BT sound system is the MIXTRAX application. Using the MIXTRAX system, you can create your own play lists complete with DJ-style sound effects to enhance the listening experience. You can choose from any of your own devices, plus MP3 and WMA audio formats, when creating your own play lists. The faceplate of the Pioneer DEH-X6600BT is detachable to deter theft. When you leave the vehicle, simply remove the stereo faceplate from the sound system and take it with you. Since the machine can’t be manipulated without the programming buttons on the faceplate, thieves have no reason to bother stealing it. The designers of the Pioneer DEH-X6600BT also added a remote control for addition ease of use. The LCD digital display of the entertainment system is clear and crisp, with Variable Color LED background lighting to make it look even more attractive. The display screen is nice and wide so you can easily see what you’re doing, while the large knob on the left-hand side of the display lets you change the volume quickly and easily. The Pioneer DEH-X6600BT system is easy to use and all-encompassing when it comes to your collection of audio disks, files, and devices. The most impressive features of the Pioneer DEH-X6600BT are its two-way iPod control, Bluetooth wireless functionality, hands-free calling options, and music streaming. In addition to these features, the Pioneer DEH-X6600BT connects to Pandora through your iPhone and the Pandora Internet Radio App. Set up the Pandora App to work on your iPhone or iPad, and the Pioneer DEH-X6600BT will allow you to stream music directly from your own hand-made audio channels. You can also stream music from others’ public Pandora channels.
