Sturdier and with crocheted heads and faces, and woven clothes rather than the matchstick, faceless or almost, matchstick original, or at least my original ones. I have loved the mini ones for over 40nyears but am excited to share these new ones with my grandchildren as they leave their baby years, to companion them through childhood as they did, their fathers. This one has been pinned to my pillow, inside my bra, has survived the bottomless pit that is my handbag and continues to share my worries now I am in my 6os.
