While the packaging may not seem to be very protective, I ship using a tried and true method that ensures the items are sorted with smaller parcels instead of large boxes, so that the chance of them being crushed is actually reduced compared to using a small box. I have over a 99% success rate using this method, and there is very little risk of damage.
