It is in pretty good condition for an 82 year old book and being offered at a very reasonable price, I was satisfied with its slight stains and cracks in order to finally add this WWII classic to my library. That the name of the original owner is written very neatly inside as well as the inscription "Christmas 1943" which added greatly to its charm.
