He is mean, green, and has smashed his way onto the Microsoft Xbox 360 in "The Incredible Hulk" video game. The fast-paced Sega America game is based on the Marvel superhero and the 2008 film of the same name. It was released in 2008 and features fury-fueled, action-packed moments from the film. An additional plot line and characters from the Incredible Hulk Universe are also present. The game can be played offline or online. Players can venture around on their own or choose two player mode. You have the freedom to move and fight where you want as you play to save New York City. Players control the superhero as he roams the streets of Manhattan in third person action. Hulk is battling the United States military, the scientist-led Enclave, and the super villain group known as the U-Foes. Many of the enemies Hulk faces are huge and soar high above the city's skyscrapers. The action adventure game has an ESRB rating of Teen for mild blood, language, and violence. For a diverse gameplay, Hulk can play in the city environment or a desert. The game is designed to be played on the Xbox 360 platform, and it is not backward compatible. With Microsoft technology, the game delivers crisp graphics. Senseless destruction increases the Hulk's anger, which in turn fills his meter with rage points. When the meter fills up, Incredible Hulk gets access to powerful new moves and abilities. The increase is temporary, but refilling the meter can release Hulk's rage time after time. Use his powerful arms to grab, lift, and throw items to cause massive damage. With so much devastation going on in New York City, nearly anything can be used as a weapon. For example, use a street light to smash a car or pick up a manhole cover to destroy an enemy. Hulk can even pick up passing cars or an entire building. Boss characters challenging Hulk in the game include the Abomination and Bi-Beast. The video game also features 50 achievements for the gamer to achieve. Achievements can be as simple as testing the cure for Samuel Sterns or more difficult tasks including protecting General Ross at the Enclave. Other achievements to unlock include destroying a building in every NYC neighborhood and acquiring points.Hulk will discover various mini games and subquests while rampaging through the Big Apple in open world play. Winning a gold medal in each of the mini games unlocks an achievement. Completing almost any mini game will unlock an achievement. Some advanced achievements can't be unlocked until a previous mini game or sub-quest has been completed. You might even get a chance to take on the identity of another famous Marvel superhero. To unlock games features, you might need the help of another superhero. With no restrictions on where the Incredible Hulk can go, you can have a different experience every time you play.
