This ASUSTeK Motherboard sports Intel technology in multiple areas including chipset and memory. The unit is compatible with Intel Socket 1155 for second generation Core, i7/Core i5, and Core i3 Processors. This Intel computer motherboard uses Intel Z68 Chipset. This unit supports Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 and Intel Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) software. The ASUSTeK Maximus IV Extreme-Z Motherboard also offers enhanced overheating protection. This ASUSTeK Motherboard provides 4 GB of dual channel memory architecture that can be upgraded to 32 GB. The unit supports NVIDIA 3-Way SLI, AMD CrossFireX, and LucidLogix Virtungraphics technology. The Intel computer motherboard supplies six expansion ports that include four PCIe 2.0x16 ports. The unit comes equipped with multiple inputs and outputs including USB ports and SATA ports. This ASUSTeK Motherboard features a number of other options including Blu-ray compatibility and Realtek programming.
