Gold Toe is supposed to be a good brand, and the socks I had from them, I had for a very long time. The ones they make now, while mostly cotton, are thin and not very soft. I don't see them lasting for a long time, and they certainly won't be as comfortable as the old ones. Another good product bites the dust.
