My BMW R1200R has been sitting in the garage for 19 months because the instrument cluster died. A new replacement is around $1500. Anything I found used was from Europe, so km/h instead of mph. My soldering skills are not up to circuit board repairs, even if I could have found the problem. I mailed it to them on Monday, and had a fully functioning cluster back on Friday.
