Brown spots on the page edges on the top book surface were unexpected, but I'm not used to eBaying books and this is likely common when stored on a dusty shelf in some environments. For the price, I think the advertised "good" matched the actual condition well. Mostly I am happy to be able to replace a book of mine from the 1960s that got mistakenly recycled: oddly, I still had the jacket, but not the book.
