With it, I replaced a bim bam movement from a Tambour style mantel clock that went bad. So far it.is performing properly. I am thinking that the clock doesn't come with a second hand because even though there is a second hand shaft, with no time setting dial, it is cumbersome to advance the minute hand with a second hand rotating. But that makes me wonder why the clock is designed with no time setting dial.
