They stick to the dash fine but hardly adhere to the dash top leaving it very loose and falls off at every turn in the road. After the cover has settled; you can now install the velcro to hold it in place, and put in contoured areas that may need extra holding. Just use small piece of the velcro (cut at about 1/2") - and make sure to clean the dashboard thoroughly of any protectants/oil so the 3m side of the velcro will stick.
