This 5.1-Channel A/V receiver can enhance your home theater experience.The Denon AVR-1312 has many inputs and outputs that allow you to integrate your Blu-ray, gaming consoles, and other home entertainment systems without the usual clutter of cables. The front side mini jack allows playback from any portable audio player. The AVR-1323 has four 1.4a HDMI ports for vibrant visuals. It supports 3D video, Deep Color, x.v.Color, auto lip-sync, and HDMI-CEC.There is also a coaxial digital input port, an optical digital input, and a standard jack for headphones. This Denon receiver has two antennae, one loop and one wire, that facilitate AM and FM reception respectively. The receiver includes a radio tuner that covers the FM frequency range from 87.5 to 107.9 MHz and the AM range of 520 to 1710 kHz AM to manually set your favorite music.An HDMI v1.4 output port provides 3-D pass-through and total Dolby digital immersion. The addition of a Denon Networked Control Dock provides full iPod integration. Even a turntable can be connected to the AVR-1312 receiver using a phono preamp. An intuitive button overlay further enhances its ergonomic design. Four quick select buttons make the receiver very easy to operate, and the on screen display provides quick information about your system's setting. For instance, the bass or treble controls can be set when the tone control is set to "ON." Graphical user interface overlay on the HDMI source provides menu displays, which can then be output to the monitor over HDMI. This allows you to adjust the settings of your home theater system while viewing menus on the TV screen.The Equal Power Amp design of the AVR-1312 provides five 110 watt channels, each powered by its own discrete circuit. Output is 75 watts per channel into 8 ohms (20-20,000 Hz) at 0.08% THD with two channels driven. All channels have 192kHz/24-bit digital to analog converters. The signal to noise ratio is 98dB in IHF-A weighted, DIRECT mode. The compressed audio restorer ensures crisp and clear playback even from MP3s. It is fully compatible with high resolution audio formats, including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD, providing a dynamic, theater quality listening experience with surround sound. The power transformers on the Denon AVR-1312 have been securely mounted on the highly rigid bottom chassis to thoroughly suppress the adverse influences of vibration on sound quality. Mutual vibration with the power transformers and other sources of vibration have been suppressed by directly mounting the feet close to each other.Listeners can fully appreciate the depth of low frequencies on this device. If you have high end speakers with subwoofers, you can enjoy the benefit of variable subwoofer crossover switching. Speakers with too low an impedance rating will not damage the Denon AVR-1312. Its amplifiers have special protector circuits, which would shut it down in unusual operating conditions.
