After working out the songs for over a year on the road we feel that each song has been perfected as they now stand. These songs were hand picked because of public response and or personal preference by the band. Understand that we know how eclectic we are and that our songs all have a unique style of their own. We don't like albums that sound like the same song over and over so we choose to use every color available to us. We love Chicago Blues, Country Blues, Rockabilly Blues, Ballads, Swing Music, Texas Shuffle, Harmonies, Orchestrated Parts (thought out), and just about anything that stirs our hearts keeping in mind that we want it done this way. Presentation is an art form and we would rather show ten different styles of songs that come from us and sound like us than stick into one style. We have many influences and they are all there to be heard. If every chapter were the same in a book you'd get pretty bored by the third chapter. Hope you enjoy our music! Lightnin' Willie.
