Reviews
"This debut author sure knows how to weave a tale! There is so much included in this book, from love to a little intrigue, humor, and new friendships." -- Storeybook Reviews, "Both heartwarming and humorous, Someday Belongs to Us is a delightful high seas adventure that reflects the irrepressible personality of its author." -- Loren Steffy, author of The Big Empty and The Man Who Thought Like a Ship, "A fun and lively read about romance, and the real and imagined adventures of a woman writer cruising through her senior years. Synopsis
It's never too late to find love on the high seas. As a 72-year-old author of more than thirty successful romance novels, Kate Caldwell had all but given up on finding her perfect love connection and spends her time writing or with her granddaughter to offset her loneliness. While the first two books of her newest Passion series had been best-sellers, partly because of the help of her secret collaborator, Captain Edward Peregrine, Kate finds herself stuck in a creative slump when it comes time to start her newest book. With mounting pressure from her publisher to write spicier romances and with Edward nowhere to be found for her, a frustrated, Kate and her granddaughter Ellie embark on a two-week cruise to the Panama Canal in hopes of conquering her writer's block. As Edward returns to Kate aboard the cruise, she begins work on her next novel--just as she catches the eye of two intriguing passengers. Both men offer her the kind of romance she's long dreamed of, but stormy seas lie ahead. Kate soon finds herself swept into the adventure of a lifetime--one that traverses a time continuum and exposes the deep conflict between desire and tranquility. The journey could upend everything she knows ... or lead her to true love.

The book was exactly as described and arrived quickly. The only problem is a recurring one with this seller and other similar sellers - the book is poorly packaged in a plastic envelope and gets heavily bumped in shipping. I would like to see the books wrapped before shipment, but I understand this can't be done for cost reason. Luckily it isn't an expensive book, and I will continue to purchase basic books from this seller. A+++++

Positive experience but could be better. Item description was accurate but, it was shipped in a simple bag with no carton or any protection. The bag was broken in places and the USPS bent the book like it was a newspaper and ruined what was an excellent looking book. That was clearly the USPS fault but a "Do Not Bend" or carton would help next time. Otherwise accurate description, value, condition and Fast shipping. I'm a returning customer and will keep buying from World of Books
