Alpaca wool is as light as its common cousins, but is often in a denser weave allowing less wind chills through. Its surface is smoother and softer for those with allergic wool surface reaction. As someone from the north of Europe, we have long appreciated this treasured South American natural fiber gift:)

It's warm, soft, and well made. Shipping was fast, packaging was perfect. Price was great considering the quality. Looks wonderful, even if I maintain the original poncho is not inverted on the inside, but I enjoy the ability to reverse it for a beige with brown accent option. It was new as described. 10/10 seller, would recommend.
