The 3.25-inch Nintendo DSi dual screen responds to touch using a Nintendo DSi stylus. Players may also use the traditional game buttons to operate characters or browse online. Weighing under one pound, the Nintendo DSi is a handheld device that makes it easy to take gaming on the go. The graphics are backlit and brightness is adjustable. An integrated microphone lets you record your own voice and play it back, using included software to change the pitch or tempo of your voice. The microphone is placed directly in the center of the portable Nintendo DSi system, allowing it to pick up sound from any position. The audio jack allows you to use headphones when playing games like Mario, or listening to music on the go without disturbing others around you. The rechargeable battery allows for up to 14 hours of continuous play. The new Nintendo DSi is versatile because it accepts all Nintendo DS games and it can download from the Nintendo DS game library online. There are also games sold specifically for the Nintendo DSi system. The Nintendo DSi gaming system offers plenty of memory for downloading games, and you can even use the provided SD card slot to upload saved music to listen on the go. Online gaming is popular with handheld system users, so Nintendo has made it possible to play multi-player games online by connecting through the DSi. The Nintendo DSi also integrates with the Nintendo Wii system to integrate the two units for optimal game play.
