It's good value but like all Chinese-made PAINTED metal lens boards, the coating on the side facing the film is more satin than matt. There's noticeable difference in the amount of light reflected from off-axis light compared to German or Japanese lens boards (see photos). The effect is less dramatic inside the camera but it is still noticeable. Wide angle lenses with large image circles would likely be more affected.
