God's Will is William Cooper's highly anticipated sophomore studio album & follow-up to his UMA "Independent Album Of The Year" nominated solo debut. William Cooper is a founding member & one fifth of the critically acclaimed supergroup Black Market Militia, which also includes Killah Priest (Wu-Tang/Sunz Of Man), Tragedy Khadafi (Capone-N-Noreaga/Juice Crew), Timbo King (Wu-Tang/Royal Fam) & Hell Razah (Wu-Tang/Sunz Of Man). When speaking of God's Will, the Newark, NJwordsmith stated, "I want to give back to what has been one of my biggest influences in life... this album will serve as my greatest contribution to Hip-Hop culture." William Cooper's well thought out verses lay perfectly over Wu-Tang affiliate producer BP's rugged soundscapes, who also handles 100% of the album's production & has worked with a long list of Hip Hop titans that include Nature (QB/The Firm), 9th Prince (Wu-Tang/Killarmy), Kool G Rap, RZA, Masta Killa & Cappadonna. Sonically, BP conducts gritty backdrops & thought-provoking interludes that keep listeners on their toes, constantly guessing what will happen next. When discussing his production approach on "God's Will", BP stated, "I wanted to produce an album that can be played from start to finish with never having to press the fast forward or skip button... a roller coaster ride of emotion." Cooper & BP have developed a magical chemiestry between MC & Producer that is almost absent in today's Hip-Hop world. Today's MCs tend to gather a list of the most popular producers at the moment & compile their tracks to form more of a compilation rather than a cohesive well thought out album. God's Will also boasts an impressive all-star lineup of guest appearances that include Hip Hop legends Sticky Fingaz (Onyx), Rah Digga & Sean Price. Cooper spoke of his album's features, saying, "I just reached out to some friends I have made in the music industry, that I respect & always wanted to work with... every feature shared my vision & did their part of making God's Will a beautiful piece of art.
