Backplane systems were originally necessary because you could not get much on a Eurocard, but these days you can get plenty. I think this product is aimed at fitting two cards in a small aluminium extrusion. So there is no room on this board for power connections, the Eurocards will have to do it. But that's not a big issue. Price is very reasonable.

Saves having to cut down larger board. Good quality material. PCB legend on both sides helps debugging. Very good value.
