After replacing the original PLA with this one, my C64 went from a blank, black screen to having the blue border and background with no text or cursor. Replaced the BASIC ROM, and it seems functional again. The diagnostics cartridge still says the PLA is bad, but I think my C64 has yet another issue that is being miss diagnosed. My passed experience with this seller has been excellent, so I'm assuming this PLA is good and will continue to look for other issues.Antwort von anyretro- Verkäufer anyretro hat auf Bewertung reagiert.- Verkäufer anyretro hat auf Bewertung reagiert.Please ensure switch 1 is in the down position, this will fix the PLA BAD miss-diagnosis when testing with a Versa64 card, same is required for the 1541 test to function correctly. We have updated the instruction card accordingly (see Versa64 listing).
