It was exceptionally well packaged in it's original box, then wrapped in cardboard. It's made worse, as aside from the crack, the scanner is actually in excellent cosmetic condition, and for only £10 would've been perfect for my needs. Contacted the seller with photos, and they immediately replied with apologies and offered to refund, so excellent service.
