NO INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED! USES a popular ISOLATED TAB) BTA16 Triac (NOT A SCR!) Correct for AC. BUT it is rated for only 700 watts (only about 6 amps at 120VAC) NOT2000!!! The AC Hot wire (black) is controlled while the AC Return wire (White) is simply a pass through. Check for solder blobs and shorts and that the Triac is FLAT on the heatsink. The small blue pot is for range
