I am less pleased with the ebay system's international shipping option which nails on extra fees (unspecificied when agreeing to purchase). This is not the seller's fault but it does make the ebay platform look more unreliable. I don't understand why Royal Mail (the initial step in the shipping process) can't be used throughout.

I have purchased this item previously from this seller and it lasted well over the 18 months recommended before change...2 or more years I think. I cannot compare with the cheap alternatives from China because I have never bought the cheap alternative but I can confirm that, to the best of my knowledge, these are the genuine article made in Germany and give long service and a smooth shave.
