No smell, will need oiling. Recommend no more than 1 oiling on inside, at least 3 times on the exterior spaced over time...it will absorb a lot. Remember the oil will change color of the leather. WELL WORTH THE PRICE.

However, they felt like a much bigger size shoe than I expected. The seller asked that I measure my foot in several places and they would ship me new boots to that size. Unfortunately, due to time restraints, I couldn’t wait for a new pair to arrive. The seller then refunded my purchase. It arrived well packaged and in good condition. I am really happy with the workmanship and service from this seller. I will gladly buy from them again.
