Seller turned order around almost immediately, for which I'm very thankful. I'm using these to rebuild some old Mineralight UVSL5 and UVSL4 short wave ultraviolet UVC prospecting lights. These bulbs are a great source of 254nM Shortwave UVC, so ALWAYS BE CAREFUL TO NEVER LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE LIGHT without UVC blocking protection. Fine Rare Find !!

Prolific in the 1960's and 70's in punch fountains to sterilize the dispensing nozzles. Also used Mineralight UVSL4 and UVSL5 short wave ultraviolet prospecting lights. These bulbs work great !! If possible its best to precondition the filaments at reduced current 180mA before putting into use to dislodge amalgamated mercury from the filaments and prolong life.

I was thrilled to find it perfectly matches the other shade we already have. Unfortunately, when we tried to install it, we discovered it was a tad too large (our bad -- "measure twice, cut once"...), so I have ordered a replacement in a slightly smaller size.
