Though it will work with a lot of different NAS rated drives, The Synology compatibility list only shows one 6t drive that they say will work with it. A week ago, there were four 6t Synology drives that were on the list. I got 2 of the recommended one for a raid 1 setup and it works perfectly. People have reported success with WD Red, Ironwolf and some others.
