Synopsis
What Happens: With runners on first and third and no one out, the batter swings and ticks the catcher's glove but connects and flies to right. The runner on third tags up and scores. The Umpire: A) Calls catcher's interference, nullifies the out and the run, and places runners at first, second, and third. B) Ignores the interference and allows the play to stand, scoring the run and counting the out. C) Asks the hitting team's manager what to do. Book jacket.
