The Yamaha RX-V667 allows you to watch your favorite videos in the highest definition and rock out to acoustically optimal sound. This next generation of high-definition receivers lets you watch your video in clear 4K recording formats, which means the definition is absolutely stunning, with the images appearing to jump off the screen. Watch Blu-ray discs the way they were meant to be watched in your home theater with this receiver. The Yamaha RX-V667 receiver comes with a multibutton remote control. It has six HDMI inputs, two digital coaxial inputs, four digital optical inputs, one HDMI output, five analog audio inputs, and supports iPod devices. The six HDMI ports give you the ability to plug practically anything with HDMI capabilities into the device, include video game consoles or HD camcorders. Since it has an analog-to-HDMI conversion, you are able to send every video source you own to your TV with a single cable. Another feature is the ability to convert any non-HD source up to 1080p resolution. This Yamaha receiver also uses 90w RMS output power, and the digital audio sound system is impressive. It features Silent Cinema, Dolby Digital, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Digital EX, Dolby Pro Logic IIx, DTS, and many more with 7.2 audio channels. This Yamaha receiver also features an AM and FM radio tuner. These truly modern receivers are 3-D capable, with a 3-D capable television, and have an audio return channel on each of this six HDMI ports. In addition, you are also able to hook up your Sirius satellite radio or record player along with other accessories for a full home theater experience. Not only does the device play movies beautifully, but also your stereo speakers explode with powerful surround sound audio, whether you are listening to music or watching a video. Like most receivers, this one offers different sound modes, like DSP (digital signal processing) which clarifies or standardizes the state of a digital signal. The 7-channel or all-channel stereo DSP mode sends the signal to every amp your device has. That provides a lot of sound in your home theater. Custom tailor your audio in your home cinema with its YPAO auto-calibration system. Simply plug in a microphone, take a seat, speak, and the Yamaha receiver calibrates all of the speakers in the room to the right frequency. It does not matter where each speaker sits. The remote and the receiver have four dedicated, reprogrammable buttons for easy switching from one device to another, further adding to the features and capabilities of this Yamaha receiver.
