Roadster has very soft forks and original brake lever had a lot off bite at first(causing front end to dive) and then needs a lot of pressure to shave off speed. The cam angle (whatever it's properly called) is more progressive and is easier to preload the front end with more bite as you get on the brakes harder. If you like doing stupid s#@t on your sportster, these are a must.
