It's I think wholly linen, can't recall if it's a blend or not at the moment, and amazingly, it's butterfly lined. The description as such is a little off as it's neither wholly unlined nor unstructured, being half canvassed and having lined sleeves and the back of the neck, and with thin shoulder pads. I do like it though it wasn't what I had intended to buy, so I am keeping it
