The doll was packaged in a very secure way with a nice protective face mask as well. That being said the box was a little dinged up, but no damage to the doll. The doll had a very nice and pretty if simple face up. If you're confident enough you can easily go in and touch up the appearance yourself. The overall doll is sturdy and made of good feeling material. Be careful about refunds though, they won't accept in my experience.
