I was moved by this account and inspired by Gladys's total trust in God's provision. As an adult I would now like to read about her life in more depth. For a younger reader, this is a well-paced version of an inspiring biography which should appeal to both boys and girls. I would heartily recommend it!, 'It has all the cannot-put down quality one could wish for in such a story. Absolutely ideal for the age group but those older would also enjoy reading it. The 21 chapters are short and would be excellent to read to younger children who still enjoy a bedtime story.
