Reviews
Praise for Michael Sears's Long Way Down "It is not a stretch to say that Long Way Down will be one of the best thrillers of 2015. The story has a touch of kindness and love, as well as twists and turns based on absolute greed and corruption, making this a thriller that will be unforgettable for suspense fans everywhere." -- Suspense Magazine "As soon as Stafford tears into his new assignment, a buzz starts that won't let go. The tension and suspense are genuine and gripping." -- Booklist (starred review) "If someone had told me one of my favorite new series would be about a disgraced Wall Street trader turned financial wrongdoings investigator, I would not have put money on it. But Michael Sears' Jason Stafford series is so compelling you'll be turning pages even if all you balance is your checkbook." --Cleveland Plain Dealer "Exceptional . . . Financial mysteries are only part of what make these books so compelling. Sears infuses them with a startling amount of humanity and warmth." -- The Arizona Republic "Michael Sears has a golden touch with words. With a compelling plot and the authenticity of Jason's professional and personal worlds, this is a solid reader investment." -- Shelf Awareness

- r***1 (178)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzter MonatBestätigter KaufThe book was exactly as described and arrived quickly. The only problem is a recurring one with this seller and other similar sellers - the book is poorly packaged in a plastic envelope and gets heavily bumped in shipping. I would like to see the books wrapped before shipment, but I understand this can't be done for cost reason. Luckily it isn't an expensive book, and I will continue to purchase basic books from this seller. A+++++
- 4***1 (1638)- Bewertung vom Käufer.Letzter MonatBestätigter KaufBook arrived quickly and is pretty close to "Very Good" description. Value priced and I'm glad I made the purchase as this is an excellent read. However, the book was mailed loose inside an over-sized plastic bag without any protection. Wrapped in a bubble wrap jacket would be a big help. A book can take a beating in USPS transit without some buffer. I can't tell if the bumps and dings were original or occurred in transit. I'd prefer to pay for shipping than have it sent with no protection.
