The shipping + taxes + fees to Canada resulted in the $82US cost of the comics ballooning to $173.10 Canadian (a factor of 2.1) despite getting a favourable exchange rate. However, that's the current state of expenses and nothing related to the vendor who helped by bundling the purchases into a "private listing".
