It lathered well but as I repeatedly scratched my scalp nails full of gray putty like material came off. I kept at it over and over maybe100 times, cleaning my nails each time, till I got tired. It was horrifying but such a relief at the same time. The itch was gone and my scalp could breathe! If they wanted to give me 10 pounds of this stuff I would give it to everyone to try!!
