“Pete's Dragon” is a film about a young boy named Pete who flees from his abusive adopted family and befriends a green and purple magical dragon named Elliot. Elliot can make himself invisible, and through this special power he creates havoc and chaos. This results in Pete being thought of as someone who brings bad luck to the town. During Pete's adventures he meets up with many characters both, good and evil. The movie is highlighted by the insertion of musical numbers and performances by well-known actors and actresses including Helen Reddy, Red Buttons, Shelley Winters, and Mickey Rooney.
