The Casio GW-A1100 1AJF Sky Cockpit wrist watch for men is specialized for aviation, but it is also a great choice for anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors. The watch, from Casio’s G-Shock collection, has a sleek look and advanced features. The solar powered cell and radio control technology mean that your watch will always be powered up with the correct time anywhere in the world. These Casio G-Shock watches have resin cases and rubber straps that make them very light and comfortable to wear. The matte black cases have 48-millimeter diameters and are 17 millimeters thick. Black bands that are 20.5 millimeters wide hold the 3.36-ounce watches securely to your wrist. The analog face of the Casio GW-A1100 1AJF model is black with red accents, and all three hands are white. There are numbers at twelve o’clock and six o’clock, with the other positions being indicated with painted white markers. In dim lighting, the bright green Neo-Bright luminescence on all three hands and the hour markers make it a cinch to tell the time, day or night. The primary dial on this Casio G-Shock series watch is multifunctional and can be used as a chronograph. It can also be called into play as a one-twentieth-second stopwatch; if you choose a different setting, it can be a countdown timer as well. In addition to the primary dial, this watch also has two subdials. At the six o’clock position is a subdial that indicates the day of the week and the timekeeping mode that is currently active. The twelve o'clock position is the 12/24-hour clock. A calendar window at the three o’clock position shows the day of the month. All of these mechanisms are kept safe by Casio’s hard, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The Casio G-Shock GW-A1100-1AJF Aviation watches have an alarm function and can even be used as compasses. The compass points are molded into the rim of the case. Pushing a button on the side causes the carbon fiber second hand to become the pointer, and it will hold its position for several seconds before reverting to timekeeping. The Japanese quartz movement on this Casio G-Shock watch is powered by light. Either solar or artificial light can charge the rechargeable battery, which then drives all of the watch’s functions. The watch is kept accurate by syncing with the world’s atomic clocks for a coordinated universal time. Its Multi-Band 6 technology can pick up signals from six different calibration clocks and correct its time as necessary once a day. You can also select from cities in various time zones around the world, and the watch will automatically reset to the time of day in that city. This Casio brand G-Shock GW-A1100 1AJF Aviation timepiece is great for the outdoors because of its compass, its solar cell, and its light weight, but it also has Casio’s Triple G Resist Construction. This tough watch is resistant to shock, vibration, and G forces. It is also water-resistant to 656 feet, so it can stand up to whatever adventure you have planned.
