The sata connector was not damaged and was fully operational. The power jack was the only issue found on the laptop and caused it to not power up, but was a easy fix. The unit seemed fully operational otherwise until I made a mistake during basic maintenance putting a pause on finishing the rest of my tests. Would buy from again just inspect carefully!
