The five-sided dust cap on this Sony car subwoofer gives additional strength to the structure and the hash-marked rubber surround further enhances control, stability, and durability. The Sony Xplod XS-L123P5 12-inch automotive subwoofer has a frequency response from 18 Hz to 2 kHz with a sensitivity of 89 dB at 1 watt (1.4 volts). The recommended power range for this Sony car subwoofer is 90 watts to 380 watts RMS and the peak power handling capability is 1300 watts. The ideal sealed enclosure volume for this automotive subwoofer is 1.15 cubic feet. The ideal vented enclosure has a volume of 0.82 cubic feet with a 3-inch diameter by 12-inch port. I doubt this, since the B tape player doesn't even work--sure, it spins tapes, but it won't produce any sound.
