These special effects are further improved by the CineFX 3.0 Engine, which allows fast, smooth gameplay with full support for Microsoft DirectX 9.0 Shader Model 3.0. This enhanced shader translates into smooth, fast gameplay. Additionally, the EVGA NVIDIA GeForce has upgraded UltraShadow technology in the GeForce 6200 AGP 8x model. UltraShadow II boosts the performance of games that feature complex lighting scenes, creating a life-like cinematic computer gaming experience for you. This second generation technology offers over four times the shadow processing power above the previous generation. The EVGA NVIDIA GeForce 6200 AGP 8x graphics card has an Accelerated Graphics Port (AGP) 8X interface, with double the bandwidth of previous models, accelerates your computer’s 3D graphic performance by providing a lightning-fast, point-to-point channel. You’ll benefit from a significant improvement in complex visual environments and uninterrupted video broadcasts or network downloads. NVIDIA has incorporated PureVideo technology in the EVGA NVIDIA GeForce 6200 AGP 8x (512-A8-N403-LR) 512MB graphics card. The NVIDIA GeForce PureVideo high-definition video processor uses DDR SDRAM technology. With 4 CUDA cores and 350MHz GPU, the GeForce 6200 AGP 8x effortlessly handles games, and the 512MB, 64-bit GDDR2 memory keeps system lag at a minimum. The GDDR2 memory clocks at 532 MHz (effective) with a 4.4 GB/s memory bandwidth. The GPU on the GeForce 6200 AGP 8x renders a fill rate of 1.4 billion texels/sec and pushes 262.5 million vertices per second. It offers 4 pixels per clock of ROP throughput.
