They arrived as described and in great condition. My one caveat to other buyers is check if someone has a better value elsewhere; that said, this seller gave me a relatively good value (just not the lowest price). Trustworthy seller though, as they didn’t lie and delivered them quickly

I DO think it's German, but what I think had happened is somewhere along the line, cap & hanger fell through pike opening (there's TWO caps and TWO hangers inside ornament!) and a third, 'new' cap & hanger was applied.
