Save yourself the headache, and extra work, and just get these from the start. They came with several different fittings, all solid brass, for a variety of connections. The only negative part I found with these is the free plumbers tape in the package. It didn't seal, so I just used my own tape, and then all was well.

Has adapter for 3/4 fitting or 1inch, came with tape, seals, 200micron filter, wrench, drain tub, and 5 micron filter which I installed. Was packed good. Great product. We are ordering their whole house system and utilizing 4 20x 4.5 filters. We have an ec4 rainsoft and it regenerates and wastes water plus you gotta buy salt. This you just replace the filters every 6 months to a year about 250 yearly. The rainsoft ec4 I spend 700 every 3 years plus 120 a year on salt.
