As soon as I replaced my old apim with this new one, my phone stay connected and there was no lag time. Everything works (voice control, steering buttons, media options, etc.). Another amazing feature I noticed too was I get my menu options on the infotainment system such as your remote start, climate control, and so forth. I have a basic model ford so everything didn't apply to me. But if you have a newer model you're in for a treat.

Can't tell if it fixed my gps problem yet as I haven't had a chance to drive it yet to let the gps re-sync with the satellites. Map feature did come up on the navigation.
