The amplifier can be hooked up to speakers or other home theater devices.It has two channels with 75 watts per channel. It pumps out a total of 150 watts of power and has 8 ohms of impedance. To reduce harmonic distortion at high volumes, the stereo amplifier employs three-stage inverted linear circuitry. It boasts a high damping factor of 60. The two-channel design helps you reproduce stereo audio. You can transform a room into a soundstage once the device is integrated into your system.The four solid feet beneath the Onkyo power amp help to significantly reduce vibration. Meanwhile, the pair of rack handles on the front of the device make it easy to lift the M-501 onto and off your sound equipment rack and install it smoothly. This amplifier would not power on. The description was " used but functioning as intended" this was not the case. The seller refunded half of the purchase cost. I guess I will need to hone my soldering skills. It seems that there are some loose solder joints in the circuit board. I did eventually get it to power up but it cuts in and out. Luckily I know how to do this stuff . I DID NOT plan on repairing this unit
