So while it is actually colder air coming from it, you have to keep it plugged in if it’s running on level 3 power mode (coldest) & won’t last more than an hour or two if that unplugged. Plugged in though if it’s VERY hot or say ur ac or power went out & you had a way to power this it would be a godsend. Price tho

This rod has a metal tightening ring (the other was plastic) and is even better than the first one I ordered. This indicates there will more than likely be a third order!
